The Harbin Baoli Tianyue project, located close to the beautiful Songhua River and the Changling Lake scenic tourist area, started in June 2019 and was completed in August 2019. The project was a challenge for the design team, as they had to consider not only the cultural significance of Harbin but also the natural elements surrounding the project. Harbin, known as the ice city, is famous for its snow and ice, and its unique geographical location and climate have resulted in a culture that merges Chinese and Western influences.
Visual Design Director Shan Hao and Creative Director Xiong Tuan Hui led the design team in creating a space that is both contemporary and reflective of Harbin's cultural heritage. The design makes full use of the water elements around the project, creating a cognizable whole feeling. The fusion of space and time in the design is a testament to the team's ability to create a design that is both innovative and respectful of the local culture.
The Silver A' Design Award is awarded to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. These designs, admired for their strong technical characteristics and splendid artistic skill, showcase a remarkable level of excellence and introduce positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
